Terms of use & disclaimer

The basics of using LawPocket, and an important note about what we do and don't do.

Last updated: 28 June 2026.

1. What LawPocket is

LawPocket is a legal matching and referral service. We connect users with independent, licensed lawyers in the UAE. LawPocket is not a law firm, does not practise law, and does not provide legal advice, opinions or representation.

2. No legal advice; no lawyer–client relationship

All content on this website is general information only and must not be relied upon as legal advice for your specific situation. Using this website or submitting a request does not create a lawyer–client relationship with LawPocket. Any lawyer–client relationship is formed solely between you and the independent lawyer you choose to engage, on their terms.

3. No guarantees of outcome

We do not guarantee any particular legal outcome, response time beyond our reasonable efforts, or the availability of a lawyer for every matter. Lawyers are independent and responsible for their own advice and services.

4. Fees

Using LawPocket to ask a question and get matched is free. Any fees for legal services are set and charged by the independent lawyer, who will quote you upfront. We may receive a referral fee from partner lawyers; this does not change the price you are quoted.

5. Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information, and remember that information on this site is general. Always confirm your specific situation with a qualified lawyer before acting.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, LawPocket is not liable for the advice, services, acts or omissions of any independent lawyer, nor for decisions you make based on general information on this site.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the service develops. Continued use means you accept the current version.
